last season we lacked depth in all departments. especially up front.

carlo was forced to play the christmas tree because there were times when gilardino was our only fit striker. carlo was forced into tactics because of limitations created by the prudence of the management in getting quality players.

this season, we've got a world-class attacking lineup fighting for 3 spots. we have added flamini to bolster the midfield, we've gotten rid of the brocchi, and we've got adequate cover for defense and its still too early to judge abbiati.

but we are stacked this time around, with a quality starting XI, and enough quality on the bench. there can be no more excuses (atleast by us when we were defending carlo) that we dont have enough players.

the management has taken care of most of our biggest problems (except gk) and now the ball is in carlo's court to deliver.

that is the funny thing shield, i think most of the milanista's here will agree that carlo is one of the best coach's in the world. but at the end of the day, you will be judged by your results; as of now, theres not much to be happy about at all. i hope he can fix the problem, but if he cant fix the problem then his day will come to an end i guess.

on paper, we are the strongest team in the league (definitely the top 3). there should be no reason that our results dont realize that fact.

as Maldini said the other day, "we've started this season where we left off last..." that is not a good thing at all...

thats mostly true, but i say this and meen it its only a matter of time if we play like we did against Bologna that somebody is on the end of a real murdering, the problem is we cant play all out attack as the defence is as weak as a kitten so when we are countered we are cut open,its a tight situation and hopefully Carletto has a Plan B now not just attack,attack and attack
