apparently there was a shitstorm in via turati today. as the article i posted earlier said, galliani met with ganso's agents and they are figuring out a way to bring him to milan. galliani also said that the deal for boateng has been complete and he will be ours for 6m, or 7m if we win the title.

then there is the issue of taiwo, which all the reports from france, italy and england are saying is a done deal once he gets his french citizenship.

there's a lot of planning going on by galliani, and for the first time in years we are signing players before the last day of the window. being part of the preseason training is vital, and galliani has finally learned.

mexes, ganso and taiwo should be the guaranteed names to come. just a solid midfielder or 2 should keep us honest with out objectives.

problem i see is that we have too much talent up front, but the midfield still looks like it will have to change. i have faith in merkel and strasser, but they're not ready to play in the first team full time. on the other hand, if they do get regular playing time, they may well develop like abate, who is becoming a mini-stud

i think pirlo is gone. i don't see him getting back into the first team, especially when the team is functioning so well without him. i would like to see pirlo start in seedorf's position on the left of midfield, and if he excels with van bommel beside him then he might stay, otherwise there is no use keeping a player for whom you'd have to change the entire strategies of the team.

i'm pretty sure we'll get another midfielder. some reports say that we've already booked pazienza from napoli, and we've also been linked with constant, lazzarri and poli.

Seedorf named Dutch Knight
Clarence Seedorf will “set myself no limits” at the age of 35 after being named a Knight in the Order of Orange Nassau.

The Milan midfielder was honoured by the Dutch ambassador to Italy, Alphonsus Staelinga, for his football and charity work.

His contract with the Rossoneri is up at the end of the season and he has been linked with a move to Brazil.

“Do I intend to retire soon? In my job motivation and physical fitness are the most important things.

“As long as those are in place, then I will set myself no limits.”

Milan President and Italy Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi attended the ceremony in the Dutch embassy in Rome and joked “Clarence will play until the age of 52.”
