I like Boateng alot, so I'll have to disagree with this notion.... I think he adds alot of dynamism to our midfield and a solid 2-way player...he was definitely a great buy for us... I was pleasantly surprised by impact as I didn't have much of expectations there....it's no coincidence that most of our great games this year came with him in the lineup instead of midfield...decision-making wise, he can mature a bit and even Allegri alluded to that recently as the reason he prefers him as a trequartista...I hope next year we see him in midfield as he will do just great there for us if/when we get Ganso

By the way, we smartly bought out half of his rights before season started, so that reduces Genoa's leverage and I don' think we'll have a problem retaining him next year

i guess my post was harsh on boateng. what i meant to say that while boateng has done well with us, he is not the Jesus that the media claims him to be. he does offer dynamism to our static midfield, and in that regards he has improved the team a lot. but the media highly exaggerates his abilities as a footballer, and i was commenting on that.

i still want us to sign him permanently, and he's also got a great on-field personality.

btw, can anybody think of a game where ibra has just blown everybody away? a game where he truly was the best player on the pitch? i cannot think of any, all i remember is that i would get upset to see papers give him a rating above 7 just for scoring a goal, even though he sucked for the rest of the game.

AC Milan attacker Antonio Cassano became a father on Thursday morning after his wife Carolina gave birth to a boy.

Milan made the announced on their official website and added that the boy has been named Christopher.

“Congratulations Antonio Cassano and also to mum Carolina who gave birth to Christopher Cassano this morning!!!” reads the statement. “It was a special start to the morning for AC Milan with news coming through of the birth, a happy and important event in the life of the Rossonero striker.”

The Italian giants further acknowledged the new responsibility of the Italy international, who has suffered with attitude problems both on the pitch and off it during his career.

“The birth of a child is always a very special moment in every parent's life and now Cassano has a new found responsibility. And this moment has come when Antonio has also been producing some good performances for his club.”

Cassano, 28, has scored two goals in his last four matches for Milan, who host his former club Sampdoria at San Siro this weekend. Massimiliano Allegri’s team are three points clear at the top of the table with just six more rounds left in the championship this season.

fabregas would be perfect as well, but he would be more expensive than ganso, so i don't really see the logic in that.
