Really glad Nesta is staying, this is brilliant news, even only 1 more season of having him is worth alot...it's no secret he's my favourite current Milan player but his mere presence in the backline is so stabilizing and he makes Silva look even better and brings the best out of him. They compliment each other very well.


The Mexes deal was done a while ago, we had the inside track for it in the Boriello deal and then it was just a matter of time...sick deal for us for sure, I'm a little concerned at the seriousness of his injury (is it ACL?) but I hope he'll be fine...Nesta and Silva are our first choice for sure but having 3 top CBs in the lineup means we're gunning for CL next year and give Nesta a breather once in a while ....this year, even though nobody publicly said it, but it's clear our focus on Serie A first and foremost (u can tell by the cup-tied signings we got in January), this is not usuasl for Milan but hopefully next year, the shit better be normal again and we get our priority on CL without neglecting Serie A for sure, we were able to be very competitive in both competitions in the Carlo years till 2006-07...if we can get a top LB like Coentrao or Cissokho (pending dental) and Mexes and Ganso and we'll be more than set

I think we own have half of him and Cagliari the other half....I know Allegri wanted him since he knows him well, I'm not sure if we do want him right away or maybe will draft him in a year or so as Nesta's replacement (not that he's anywhere as good)...if I was Galliani though, I'd keep the 50% share in him just in case but I wouldnt lose much sleep if he's gone altogether

Thanks, I'm glad you like my articles. How I got into writing is a funny story. FIFA 10 broke down on my PC. Try as I might, I couldn't get it to work, so I thought I may as well do something useful. I looked around for websites to write for, and forzaitalianfootball was recommended to me by my friend Jack Sargeant.
As for my Palermo connection, I liked their pink shirts from the time I first saw them in 2004, but they had a really good spell at the start of the 06-07 season where they were at the top of the table. I had been supporting Milan but I found myself wanting Palermo to win more than Milan, and I realised I had to make the change. Being a Rosanero isn't all that bad but in terms of trophies won, even the other team I support, Sheffield United, have fared better than Palermo. Palermo have won bugger all. Do you have a Twitter account?

Antonio Cassano must be crazy. Crazy or stupid. How could he have been sent off in such a short space of time, with one yellow card for taking his shirt off?
I have never understood the appeal or getting your kit off for celebrations, is it that the players have so much energy that they want to channel that by ripping a garment off?

i don't think cassano will stay with us for next season. his days at milan are numbered.

the red card was a freak accident, it could've happened to anybody, but it's less dramatic as ibra's punch.

i just hope that we can play the same form of football, on the ground to the feet, when ibra gets back. and let him play behind pato, pato thrives in a prima punta role. he is absolutely devastating inside the box, let him just stay there. let ibra create the chances.
