didn't see the game last night cos i was at the Barnsley game but what were the Kozak fouls like? some say accident some others say he intended to elbow and knee Bonera and Legro and should have been sent off.

just seen the fouls now maybe the first one was accidental but the two on Yepes and the knee to Legro's head were deffinate fouls and the ref should have sent him off, funny how MVB got a easy second yellow against Catania but 3 elbows from Kozak are not even a yellow with the ref last night. however we didnt score last night is a mystery as well to me it looked like we were battering them!

yesterday's was a disgusting game. we played well enough in the first half considering we had no creative outlets, and we capitalized on a defensive blunder from dainelli. our attacking trio looked lively and dangerous the entire half. however, at 45 minutes, genoa got a lucky break and scored thanks to sloppy defending on our part and that was all they would need to change their game plan at halftime. we were dominating them until then, but now that they were no longer chasing the game, they could focus on suppressing our creativity (not hard to do when all of that was coming from the three players up front).

the frustrating part of this was that, as is becoming the usual, allegri had no response. while his genoese counterpart made changes at halftime, allegri did not, nor did he make any real changes during the second half. cassano on for robinho was a like-for-like substitution and in midfield we still had nothing. emanuelson came on late, but it doesn't seem like he will solve any of our problems either.

as a result, we spent the entire second half lobbing hopeful long balls from our defense to our attack in a desperate attempt to set one of our attackers loose, but genoa were rightfully not having any of that. the tactics were dreadful and amateurish: a shocking lack of strategy and thought from the coach. we really could have used merkel yesterday and i don't understand why he was not called up after having nothing but good performances up until now.

it also highlighted how wrong they were to have brought in van bommel to strengthen our midfield, despite him being comfortably the best out of the three. with pirlo out, we started a midfield of van bommel, gattuso and flamini. read over that again and let it sink in. van bommel, gattuso and flamini. how could you not bring in one or more creative midfielders in january to have more options when the game is in doubt and bring in a fifth (!) destructive midfielder instead?

anyway, i think we all know that inter will end up winning lo scudetto again this year, which is just as well. this disgusting team does not deserve to win anything.

i think the biggest problem is allegri's lack of a plan B. he hardly ever 'changes' a game, and it's not a surprise that he has used the least amount of available substitutions out of any coach in the serie A this year. he has to be able to change the game with the players at hand, if allegri keeps making late subs, it will not help us.

i still think inter will drop a bunch of points sooner or later, leonardo isn't the brightest bulb, but we have to make sure that we start winning these less difficult fixtures.

Andrea Pirlo’s agent would not confirm or deny reports of a link with Roma. “It’s not the right time to discuss leaving Milan.”

The veteran midfielder’s contract is about to expire and there are rumours he could join the all-new Giallorossi with his old Coach Carlo Ancelotti.

“At the moment Andrea is focusing only on the pitch,” agent Tullio Tinti told fichajes.com.

“It’s too early to talk about what the future holds, as we are still in February.

“It’s not the right time to discuss a contract renewal or possibly leaving Milan.”

The representative certainly did not deny that Pirlo could be considering a move away from San Siro.
