we could probably challenge for the cups as is, without much reinforcements, as our starting eleven is still pretty good, it's just that if we want to compete for the scudetto, we really need to strengthen our squad.

if i had my way, i would strengthen with a lot more than just one player. i would replace the keeper (buffon would have been optimal, i would have taken hildebrandt), add a versatile fullback who plays well on the left (zambrotta ideal, chivu would have worked), a defensive midfielder, preferably with height (barusso woulda been nice, though someone like de rossi or essien would be an unattainable dream), and a forward (ronaldinho then eto'o then henry).

of course, none of those will be a reality now, and i will be happy with whoever we get provided he doesn't flop.

Secondo la trasmissione SILive24 di Sportitalia, condotta dall'esperto di mercato Michele Criscitiello, il fantomatico "Mister X" a cui Adriano Galliani sta dando la caccia potrebbe essere Juan Roman Riquelme: il centrocampista di San Fernando avrebbe infatti molti punti di contatto con l'identikit tracciato dall'ad rossonero e sarebbe di certo un colpo ghiotto per il mercato rossonero. Primo su tutti, il suo status: "Romy"– assistito da Marcos Franchi, procuratore di Diego Forlan ed ex agente di Diego Maradona, visto pochi giorni fa in Italia - è extracomunitario, ma la sua permanenza per quattro anni e mezzo potrebbe garantirgli un passaporto spagnolo senza alcuna difficoltà (per i paese iberoamericani ne bastano solo due); Riquelme sarebbe un giocatore di primissima fascia, dalla classe indiscussa e dai colpi eleganti che farebbero innamorare San Siro, come hanno già fatto innamorare il Presidente Silvio Berlusconi, che pare abbia avuto un colpo di fulmine per l’argentino durante la partita Argentina-Colombia della scorsa Copa America.
