Im not happy with the result at all, but we did not take enough risks to win, so a 0-0 is a fitting result of such a game. I should underline that Buffon as usual was in top shape and his point-blank saves on Kaka (with Gila's rebound goal called off for a close offside) and Pippo, along with the FK by Pirlo really denied us a crucial breakthrough. Dida was in top form also, making a great one-handed save early in the second, and saved by the post early in the first. I cannot understand our pathetic league home form, with the Derby being our last chance before Xmas, I expect this curse to continue into the new year

On our players, Nesta was a monster, Kaladze and Oddo were solid, Sergino not good. From our mid, only Ambro, and to a lesser degree, Rino were good I thought, Pirlo and Kaka were closed down well, Seedorf does not look fit to me and was not himself. Gila was doing better than Kaka and Seedorf actually, so this brings me to the nex point which is our useless substitutions. The only one that made sense was Maldini's. Pippo for Gila was a hopeless sub and even more so was Bonera for Oddo which signalled that we did not want to win the last 10-15 mins

And congrats to our golden boy for winning the Ballone d'Or, the Ultimate individual prize a footballer can get. I looked at the at the top 10, and it all makes sense in general. Unlike the corrupted Fifa awards and selection systems, this one has always been objective with common sense always prevailing. Pirlo is fifth overall and first among Italians, which is completely logical IMO. Milan now 8 golden balls, which ties for the all-time record for a club beside the zebras

And how about Group C in Euro 2008, fucking massacre
