[i]Julio Baptista could be Milan’s new target after Vice-President Adriano Galliani revealed that the Rossoneri will soon sign a non-EU player.

The President of Suriname conferred the highest civil order to Milan's Dutch champion, that of Commander in the Order of the Yellow Star.


Clarence Seedorf received the highest civil honorification, that of Commander in the Order of the Yellow Star, from the Suriname President Ronald Venetiaan. "I'm very happy and very proud. I am very close to my nation, Suriname, which is going through a difficult period. I'm proud to be able to participate in the life of the Country, to its growth, especially for the youth. Through the Foundation, already in October, various projects connected to the sport will begin."

What did it mean to bring the Champions League cup around the world? "I've had the honor of bringing the Cup in various places, you cannot imagine the joy of the people, especially in the poorer areas the joy was so immense that it also gave me a lot. I felt their happiness but also the feeling of taking part in something grand: they followed our games during the year and it was a great pleasure to participate in these emotions."

There is a lot of enthusiasm about going back to work: "I always say we are like a family, the fact we stay together for more than half a year makes us a family. In this team, every year the relationships within the dressing room get better and stronger, which is wonderful."

Commander seems like an apt title for him...its always good to hear from the players when they get back; always refreshed and raring to go...they inspire a lot more confidence within me than Galliani inspite of saying pretty much the same things...I mean, now I almost believe that we don't need any more players...
