Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has said that the Rossoneri are not dependent on Zlatan Ibrahimovic for goals and creativity but has expressed his hope that the striker nets as many as he possibly can for the club.

The former Juventus and Inter forward has been on target for the Diavoli in the last three matches in all competitions. Ibrahimovic scored the equaliser against Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday and netted the winner against Genoa last weekend.

Speaking ahead of the Rossoneri's clash with Parma on Saturday evening, Allegri insisted that they can function without the Sweden international but admitted that he is a very integral part of the squad.

"Do we depend too much on Ibra? I think this kind of talk is not constructive, because if Ibra scores, it means that there are players in the team able to set him up," he said, according to the club's official website.

"We have players who can find the net in any situation, I’m talking about our forwards, midfielders and defenders. Ibra’s goals are not enough, but they are very important of course.

"Milan’s tactical potential is enormous, but we need everyone’s availability in order to adapt to different systems. In order to win on a regular basis, we need to play using different systems. Fortunately, the players have understood the importance of helping each other on the field.

"Several members of the team had scoring chances, here I’m referring to [Clarence] Seedorf, Robinho, [Kevin-Prince] Boateng and [Mathieu] Flamini."

Allegri went on to say that he expects a tough test at the Ennio Tardini on Saturday.

"Parma are a good team, organised, with a creative offence. This match is very important for us, as it will be the last one before the international break after a rather busy week.

"I also expect this game to make the team move up the table and improve our self-esteem, therefore for us it’s like a final.

"Tomorrow’s match will be important also from a psychological point of view, as we have to find our self-esteem."

When asked whether Ronaldinho will start on Saturday, Allegri remained coy.

"In football no one has a guaranteed place in the starting line-up.

"It’s normal that he didn’t like watching our Champions League match from the outside, I would have been surprised if it had been the opposite.

"He’s important like everyone else in the team, he has to be an added value for this team.”

Pedro Leon’s stay with Real Madrid could be short, according to Spanish sportspaper Marca, which suggests that the offensive midfield player could make a swift winter move to Milan.

Signed from Getafe over the summer, the 23-year-old has failed to make much of an immediate impression in Jose Mourinho’s first team plans. Indeed, the former Murcia youngster was left out of los Blancos’ midweek Champions League excursion to Auxerre after reportedly incensing the Portuguese coach by ignoring his tactical decisions.

Never one to stand disobedience, Mourinho is set to make an example of the Mula-born player by off-loading him in a winter transfer to the Rossoneri, who will begin discussions over a potential deal when the two sides meet in European action after the international break.

The Italian giants have a long history of chasing the Spaniard, and were one of a number of clubs involved in the clamour to sign him from los Azulones last summer.

With Mourinho poised to omit Pedro Leon from his squad to face Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday, it’s very possible that he is also open to a quick transfer of the player, who is already something of a misfit at the Bernabeu

What an unbelievable strike from Pirlo. Unbelievable. I first thought the keeper should of saved it (as in a solid keeper should save a shot from that distance), but man he got some swerve on it.

Crespo should have had a peno early on, however.

^That was not a penalty or even close to it IMO, I'm assuming you're talking about the one where he tried a diving header or something like that and was marked by Nesta...that definitely was not a PK

Awesome goal by Pirlo, Rino and Clarence are both garbage and need to be taken out as is that idiot Robinho,,,I think defensively we're OK but the midfield is too slow and static to provide adequate support upfront, so u can see our attack is disjointed since the front trio are isolated...Put Boaeng for Seedorf, Flamini for Rino who doesn't have enough gas in the tank it seems, and of course unleash the Duck instead of Robinho. He should be good to play 30+ minutes.

We're controlling the game so I hope we continue doing that and not make the mistake of the Lazio game

In real time it looked like a peno to me. I have yet to see a replay of it, however, but at the time it looked like Nesta barged rather clumsily into Crespo's back, and while Crespo is prone to hitting the deck easily, you could even see Nesta looking rather anxiously over his shoulder at the ref (when picking himself up from the ground, too).

at least we were not burned on the counter 3 or 4 times last night, Thiago and Nesta look better by the game together, we need new fullbacks though no cover for Antonini who is the pick of the bunch imo, Zlatan again had 5 or 6 wonderful chances, the not scoring them does not bother me so much because we know he will eventually and at least he is getting the chances so more will come, Robinho looks like he needs a goal to settle himself down and then he might start to play like we have seen him do for Brazil, Gattuso looked strong again so props to him although when KPB and Flamini are available i think Rino should be benched for the more youthful midfield, Pirlo what a goal! he seems to be getting back to his metronomic best! Dinho played some nice passes but also made some pretty poor passes as well and should have scored his 1v1, Pato had a touch like a sledgehammer but is coming back from the injury, we know the kid can play, Abbiati is looking strong although be nice to see Amelia after he did so well in pre-season, with the team gelling more and more i think we should be pretty tough to beat in time if we can refine the tactics to the best formation and acquire a few new additions to the team mainly FB's and maybe a Pirlo replacement.
