I can't really argue with that, Tom. That is the nature of the game now, I suppose, but it just feels like Roma has lost (will lose) whatever that little something was which it had which attracted us to it in the first place, if that makes any sense. It makes me hate the game all that more.

I just think you're getting older, threddy - your eyes are opening more and more to the realities of this stupid, ugly game. You can attach symbolic importance to this particular move (and, no doubt, will), but the truth is just that you're entering the age of disillusion. It's not that age brings you wisdom - it's just that the game wears you down and your protective blinkers that you stubbornly cling to get worn away.

Vucinic doesn't know who this Pasqualin is or why he spoke for him, and he's certainly not his agent. He does not know why this man said he wanted to leave Roma or that he received any offers, and goes on to say he categorically denies all talk that he wanted to leave and that his only agent on this matter is Alessandro Lucci.

In other news, Montella got , so is likely out against Bari. Its a big blow, as he was just looking like he was getting back to form, as demonstrated by that flick on the sidelines against Palermo. Looks like we'll have to stick with Totti.

ooh, some other plans: roma cheerleaders, and the inside roma reality tv show and the training camp show. most notably, hire placement agencies for marketing all over the media. actually looks like a very solid business plan.

I doubt the new owners are crazy enough to actually try to Americanize a Serie A side, but it seems that they will be applying an American business model to an Italian organization. . . it will be interesting to see if it works. So far they're talking a good game but the summer mercato will give us a better indication of their ambitions.

i don't think those are that bad. cheerleaders at half time or before the game would actually be better than the current half-time entertainment.

but what roma really needs, and db's business plan failed to address this, is a brand new jingle that makes the roma brand globally recognizable. something like "baba ba ba ba i'm loving it".

So as im hearing a lot about new kits and sponsors i have a few questions:
Firstly, If we still have a contract with Kappa (i think its till 2014/15) will the new kits come after that or will the contract be terminated?
Secondly, besides Kappa, who would be your first choice to make our kits?
