i just finished watching the game since i had to record it. i havent had the time to read the posts made during and after the game yet but i am sure i'll find similar comments. that was by far the worst display i have seen from this team aside from ONE sublime goal. i was embarrassed as a fan today. tonetto better start to get used to the feel of a pine bench because he has been playing miserabley for the last month or so. why are we not phasing in a promising player like antunes in games against genoa? cassetti cannot play on that side effectively and i have a real hard time believing that antunes, a natural left footed / left side player would do any worse. when the fuck do the young guys get a chance if we cannot even field one or two against teams like genoa? we have hungry young compitent players looking to impress, yet we field guys out of position, out of form and completely spent from playing way too much. i really dont get it and maybe that's why i'm not in the business.

mancini has become absolute junk for us. if we can afford to, i would sit this fucker out for the rest of the season and ship him off to shaktar so he can freeze off any semblance of testicles he may claim to have. the fucker is a deadbeat.

i dont give a shit that we won. this team looked like shit! my biggest dissapointment is that vucinic's amazing goal is soured by argueably the worst performance in 2 years. what ever happened to our goddam midfield game?? give away after fucking giveaway.

sorry to bore you with this rant but i am furious that i actually sat through this entire shit game.

on a more positive note, i rewatched the second half of the manu game last night and i have to say that we really did not deserve the 0-2 outcome. we looked really good out there and if it wasnt for vds matching our players with quality saves, we could have been heading to ot drawn or at worst one goal down. i really hope we can pull off some sort of miracle or at least a respectable response rather than rolling over dead.

What was up with the constant long balls? I felt like I was watching the EPL. I know the team had injuries and suspensions but that was horrible. I know this board is divided about new ownership but we won't win anything for years to come if our ownership doesn't change. Foreign owners might not be the answer but no Italians have stepped up yet. We can't keep running this team like a fucking bakery.

well, i guess you could say that he got the third assist on that one since the keeper and fabiano were playing hot potato with the ball off the cross and it fortuitously landed at taddei's feet. it reminded me a bit of rooney's goal against us on tuesday.

even despite that early play, i thought max had a dreadful game, as did cassetti and giuly.

all i can say is thank god for borriello's 'striker's' tackle in the box. other than that, i thought he had a pretty good game for genoa.

yes, the long balls are starting to worry me. that's why i had asked in a previous post, "where the hell did our midfield game go". i noticed it during the man u game too, especially in the first half. no build up with our typical one-touch game. just hail mary passes up to vuci. then we had man u doing a fine impression of the italian 'catenaccio'. i was wondering if they had prematurely swapped jerseys before the game even started.
