To sum up, according to Tommaso, Gio's article could be bullshit as could be his above one. On the other hand either or both could contain truth. So at the end of the day in terms of transfers articles, what's new?

I am getting so many conflicting reports about the Roma-Ip-Unicredit negotiations that it is not worth discussing. Just 2 days ago, I was convinced that there was no way out this time for Rosella. Now, with the Mayor of Rome getting involved, I am not so sure. We may be stuck with her for a while longer.

Although I will stand by the information I received a few days ago that Rosella is finished at Roma and that Claudio Toti and Francesco Angelini are ready to take over.

E' Angelucci l'alternativa ai Sensi?

Il nome era circolato già alcuni mesi fa, poi si è creata un pò di confusione con il quasi omonimo Angelini. La vera alternativa alla famiglia Sensi era, forse è, rappresentata da Giampaolo Angelucci, negli ultimi giorni in vacanza in Sardegna. Lo scrive Tuttomercatoweb.

Vorrebbe entrare nel mondo del calcio, nonostante in ambito familiare non tutti sono d'accordo. La sua vicinanza ad Unicredit potrebbe giocare un ruolo fondamentale. La trattativa può andare in porto, a patto che la famiglia Sensi non trovi un accordo con l'Unicredit di Profumo; per questo motivo sono stati avviati nei giorni scorsi i primi contatti con Angelucci che avrebbe controllato perfino i libri contabili.

Quello di Angelucci è un impero: cliniche, strutture sanitarie e quotidiani. E' un mondo ampio e variegato quello della famiglia Angelucci. A capo c'è Giampaolo, 35 anni, che da anni è uno dei protagonisti della sanità laziale ed italiana. L'impero Giampaolo lo ha ereditato dal padre, Antonio, fondatore della Finanziaria Tosinvest spa: è lui che ha creato un vero e proprio "network" di cliniche e strutture per la riabilitazione in tutta Italia particolarmente concentrate tra il Lazio e la Puglia.

La Tosinvest dispone di strutture sanitarie accreditate presso il Ssn che garantiscono in totale 3000 posti letto. La società gestisce inoltre il presidio ospedaliero di Ceglie Messapica, 5 residenze sanitarie assistenziali nel Lazio e 11 in Puglia. Da Giampaolo Angelucci dipende anche il San Raffaele di Roma divenuto istituto di ricovero e cura a carattere scientifico) sotto la precedente giunta regionale di centrodestra guidata da Francesco Storace.
La famiglia romana è attiva anche nel mercato dell'editoria grazie alla proprietà dei quotidiani Libero e Il Riformista. In passato gli Angelucci hanno avuto una partecipazione anche nell'Unità. Manca solo il calcio: sarà la prossima tappa? Sensi permettendo...

There have been no reports of any interested buyers and without at least one there would be no point in Unicredit acquiring Roma. If there is genuine interest, then of coruse everything could change.

In view of the latest twists of events...

So the July 5 appointment to determine the future of Italpetroli could have no effect on our beloved Roma if all these denials and suppositions are actually worth anything...and I had begun to think this time may have been different because let's be frank, Rosella was seen to be at panic stations!

It's again looking a lot more likely that the inevitable change in ownership, when it does happen, will be in the future though it's never been more clear Rosella really is on borrowed time.

Unfortunately for Roma it seems the time still isn't right for change...
