Siamo giunti veramente al ridicolo. Ora i tifosi della Roma hanno preso d'assalto anche internet per portare avanti la loro protesta sulla presunta, almeno ascoltando le loro lamentele, combine che sarebbe stata messa in atto nei confronti della Roma. I Blog, le radio e tutto quanto si può utilizzare per mettere in atto la protesta viene utilizzato dai sostenitori giallorossi.

Non solo, da quel che si sa i romani ricchi di romanità non sembrano esser paghi del trambusto creato a voce tramite le emittenti e sarebbero pronti ad organizzare una manifestazione, si spera quantomeno dopo quanto visto al derby "pacifica", che verrebbe messa in opera il prossimo 30 aprile in via Allegri sotto la FIGC per comunicare a chiare lettere che il Campionato è falsato. A dare la notizia è il Corriere dello Sport, quotidiano sportivo romano, che aggiunge anche che oggi diversi supporters giallorossi erano presenti al centro sportivo Bernardini per essere vicini alla squadra. Ad accompagnare il tutto, vista la tifoseria assai "colorita", non potevano mancare striscioni e cori: «Era un sogno, poteva essere solo sussurrato perché qualunque cosa più forte di un sussurro l'avrebbe fatto svanire. Forza ragazzi». E ancora: «Non molliamo adesso».

Da parte loro i giocatori sono apparsi molto concentrati, o forse sarebbe più corretto dire turbati e demotivati dopo il KO subito con la Sampdoria, e hanno lasciato intendere ai tifosi accorsi di non voler mollare.

Ma quello che fa veramente sorridere e la sceneggiata che i tifosi si apprestano a montare. Il motore trainante la manifestazione sarebbero i fantomatici torti subiti proprio contro la Samp di Cassano e Pazzini. La protesta è stata attivata in particolare da alcune emittenti radio romane: 'Rete Sport' e 'Centro Suono Sport', anche su facebook si lavora alacremente per tirare a se quanti più tifosi possibile. Sul social network sono addirittura 1.600 le adesioni arrivate. Roma, e con lei tutti i romanisti, non sembra voler accettare quanto il campo ha sancito con la Doria. La cosa potrebbe anche destare preoccupazione perchè per le vie romane, nella metro, nei taxi, ovunque si parla di combine e il clima non sembra dei più cordiali e tutto questo dopo la parentesi buia del post-derby con accoltellati, macchine in fiamme e armi disseminate un po' ovunque.

E' incredibile come il tifo, accompagnato da una insana cecità, porti a vedere le cose in modo distorto. I tifosi giallorossi farebbero meglio a metterci una pietra sopra e pensare che, dopo che l'Inter era stata beffata e sorpassata dopo un periodo lunghissimo di vetta solitaria, loro avrebbero potuto subire stessa sorte perché in fondo questo Campionato è un Campionato un po' PAZZO.

As for Mexes, it is a great shame. He is one of my favourite players. Not just because he is so passionate and an 'honorary Roman', but also because he is the kind of defender I like and the kind of defender which I like to compare myself too when I play, as much of a difference as there no doubt is. I have a Mexes number 5 jersey which I bought in Roma last year, complete with Lega Calcio Serie A badge one sleeve and an Irish Roma Clan badge on the other. Talk of selling him is bitter and backward and would further confirm our status as a club who cannot compete for major honours and nearly-men who continually take one step forward and two steps back.

I don't think Ranieri lacks faith in Mexes at all. I think Ranieri simply prefers the partnership of Juan and Burdisso, and Mexes' below-par performances this season have failed to break-up that partnership. He hasn't been playing as well as previous seasons, he has looked shaky and not as dominating as he can, and so he is not in the team. Juan is all class, clearly, and so he is never not going to start when fit, and Burdisso has been a revelation, and they work well together. Burdisso is also the type of no-nonsense run-head-first-into-that-brick-wall-there-for-the-craic type of defender which a defensively-minded coach like Ranieri prefers, and so its just been a tough time for Mexes. He's certainly not lost any ability, he's just lost his place in the team due to a drop of form to two defenders who are playing better. Two defenders who, surely, will be starters for their respective countries in the coming World Cup.

Ronaldo's were the tears of a petulant little boy; Mexes's were those of a great-hearted gladiator. That's the difference here.

At the time, Ronaldo, though still relatively young, had already passed through a lot of negative experiences and he honestly deserved something. After that, he's gone definately downhill.
