Yesyes Tuna... the money spent on cici would have bee better off in rosella's fat wallet. Jeez.. you anti-cici boys are stubborn arent you? For the record i dont think we overpayed.... yes we actually payed for once.. which might seem like we really splashed the cash.. but in normal club transfer world.. thats the price you pay to get good players. And to be fair, i feel Cicinho contributed at more crucial times than Cassetti did last season. Yes Casetti was injured... but Cici had a very ackward start at roma.. but since his laserbeam assit to voochman against milan in the beginning of the season... i dont think he's looked back. And dont anybody feed me the garbage about the team dynamics and workrate blabla... Roma looked a better team more often than not with Cicinho patrolling the right flank.

Anyways... onto Suazo... am i the only one who has a problem with that money grubbing mercenary arriving in Rome after what he pulled on us last season?!

Ahmed, time will tell! There have been heavy rumours also over David Suazo coming to Roma...a move I too wouldn't be against!

To be honest I think we can condense all the talk into a few words. I hope these two are our remaining summer buys because with time running out I do not see us doing better! No, they are not world class but there's a lot worse than this pair on the market.

As I said the other day...during the negotiations in the Mancini affair, couldn't our management have done the deal with Inter over Suazo when he was presented as a part exchange option? It made more sense than not! The Mutu transfer could have still happened. While I mention his name, we've all been waiting to see just what games Chelsea's pending financial action will play with his mind. Who knows, a blessing in disguise for us that he remains a Viola?

Perhaps we will be lucky and also get an advantageous loan deal as the mercato ends...
