You know, all kidding aside, it wouldn't surprise me if many Italian football clubs have some kind of mutually beneficial arrangement with a local bus firm over a lease/hire deal.

Since flying is often more of an option than road travel, given the distances involved for many away games, buying a bus wouldn't really make that much sense, especially as it would only be needed to transport the team and assorted training and management staff to and from the airport near the football ground in the city of the team being played, and then another bus for the trip from Ciampino Airport back to either Trigoria or a mutually agreed drop-off point in the city of Roma.

A commercial vehicle leasing/hiring co. would offer a knock down deal to a big soccer club just for the publicity in much the same way it's worth for example a restaurant owner's while to pay Spalletti or whomever a large fee plus a gratis dinner to have him open or even "visit" his place and then be able to display his pic saying he eats there!

What great prestige by the same token, to speak of to customers, than to tell them AS Roma lease one of their single deck luxury coaches! (known as Pullman in Italy)

Ancora tre o quattro giorni, e poi si conoscerÃƒÂ il futuro di Luciano Spalletti. Tra mercoledÃƒÂ¬ e giovedÃƒÂ¬, infatti, ci sarÃƒÂ il 'fatidico' incontro con Rosella Sensi. Il tecnico di Certaldo, secondo fonti vicine all'ambiente giallorosso, chiederÃƒÂ al presidente di rimodernare con nuove apparecchiature (piscina, attrezzature per il recupero di infortunati) il centro sportivo di Trigoria, ma non solo. 'Lucio' richiederÃƒÂ anche l'inserimento nei quadri societari di un direttore generale, una figura che ormai manca da tanti anni nella Roma e che gli permetterebbe di lavorare tranquillo sul campo. Se la Sensi accoglierÃƒÂ le richieste del proprio allenatore, Spalletti sederÃƒÂ sulla panchina giallorossa anche nella prossima stagione.

Those would be nice additions, but I think we'd all agree that the museum is the more pressing concern.
