As you say, I'm sure it's only a precaution and I'm not surprised to see Vučinić will be held in reserve for Catania. On Shieldy's point, Ranieri is forced into a change. Fortunately it doesn't include il bestione but perhaps Brighi will be played with Menez, behind Totti. Let's face it, in an away match we will not see an adventurous Ranieri and he won't start Okaka though if things are hopefully going our way he may get the last 20 or so minutes.

Two Sicilian gigs back to back...there's the perfect excuse for the young single guys in the squad to stay down there for the week and lap up the last of the summer sunshine plus whatever else they can get.

If only it wasn't required to go back to Trigoria to train!

Vucinic is injured?? well, Menez will get a good run at Palermo. maybe Guberti too

i just saw the highlights to our game against Fiorentina. anyone think Mexes is a bit overrated?? or maybe peaked already??

Mexes has great raw skill...but is far too prone to error to ever be considered world class. He's still great.

Someone on the offside was mentioning that he was at the game on Sunday and that Taddei received the most negative reception from the fans...interesting.

i've always appreciated mexes as a quality defender. top 10 in the world [to me]. but hes also prone to a higher frequency of brain farts than most other defenders in his class.

I'm not a Mexes fan, so I wouldn't want Juve to sign him.

Roma seem to need to sell a player a summer to keep the club ticking over and I would certainly understand if Mexes was to be the player sacrificed next summer.
