Frenchy, I don't want to see this any more than you!

As yet it's only a story but the sad part is I could actually see one of those two being sold off under Rosella's continued ownership and a couple of lesser priced players bought in either Mexes' or Brighi's place, with very little else happening on the transfer market.

The club has less royalties from Europa League tv than the CL to help fund a mercato even of sorts...and at the minute those two are worth something. As I say, the main worry is, on whom, or what will that money be spent, if either of those sales goes ahead?

I don't believe this is true. I can't see Spalletti agreeing to stay if that were to happen.

I think Spalletti doesn't mind replacing Mexes and Brighi with Loria and Taddei.

Carlo, like Lorenzo said, I can't see Spalletti agreeing to stay on if the management were then going to turn around and sell one of our key players. He has been given a more important role in mercato matters so I can't see how he'd let that happen. Bruno Conti that we won't be losing any of our important players and so we have to hope thats true.

Here's an interesting rundown of the 'pagelle' for the season for all of our players. Not surprisingly Totti got the highest rating while Loria received the worst:

Chelsea have made an approach for young Roma goalkeeper Valerio Frasca, according to his agent. The 18-year-old is currently yet to break into the side at Roma but has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti. it's ok if we lose Juan, he cant even serve a full term without being injured. Loria is gone for sure and we could resign Panucci for CB. Andreolli is about as good as gone when we sign Motta. With Lecce down, we might prise for Diamoutene and Andrea Esposito as 3rd and 4th which would cost 50% of Antunes + 2 other youth as much as i would hate to say it.
