Sarà un derby della capitale straziato dalle vittime dell'Abruzzo, ma in Italia lo spettacolo continua, forse anche ingiustamente. Ecco le probabili formazioni di Lazio-Roma (ore 15, Stadio Olimpico)

QUI LAZIO – Delio Rossi è all'ultima spiaggia. Qualora la Lazio non dovesse far risultato contro la Roma, il tecnico biancoceleste finirà anzitempo la sua avventura a Roma. QUI ROMA – Luciano Spalletti deve far a meno di Juan, Aquilani e Vucinic. Il tecnico di Certaldo potrebbe riproporre il 4-2-3-1 che gli ha permesso domenica scorsa di battere il Bologna. Totti ci sarà, anche se non sarà al meglio della condizione; dietro di lui ci saranno a sinistra Brighi, a destra Taddei e incursore centrale Baptista, il quale cercherà di ripetersi dopo il gol che ha deciso il derby nel girone di andata. A centrocampo confermato la cerniera formata da De Rossi e Pizarro. In difesa, davanti a Doni, ci saranno Motta, Mexes, Panucci e il rientrante Riise.

Yeah, we thought we'd give the dirty sheepshaggin bastids a headstart, you know, just 'cos they're Lazie and all, and just to give some entertainment back to the people. Its been a most unusual game, one which obviously being heavily influenced by the circumstances leading up to and surrounding the game. Its been fantastically surreal, almost a friendly at times, a friendly with 70,000 fans watching quietly, creating an eery atmosphere, which has sporadically burst into live with some nice football mixed with some woeful. We should of leveled it up before the break, but hopefully we can get some urgency going at the break.

So...wtf happened there? I just woke up and saw the highlights of the first half and they had 2 goals in the first 4 minutes? We seemed to have better chances throughout but just couldn't score.

Yes, with the exception of those first five minutes, we've dominated proceedings. Clearly the boys weren't fully focused at the beginning, but shit happed (i.e. Lazio). I dont think I can blame Doni for the second, it just was a peach of a shot and moved quite a lot. Still, we responded immediately, which was important, and have done alright since then. Brighi has been invisible out there, while Baptista is looking very sharp. We need more from Totti. We can do it. Here we go...

What a debacle. I honestly do not know where are heads are sometimes in these games. Lazio is so bad. I realise this is a derby but my God, they have nothing, and we go out and wet the bed like this? Two goals in first 5 minutes? Spalletti, Panucci and Mexes all get tossed from the game. The referee has completely lost control. The third goal was embarrassing in my opinion. We have three players there and the guy gets his head on the ball. 4 goals to Lazio who can't score goals and can't keep them out of their own net.

Surely now, the CL is not even a dream. The whole season is a debacle. This is our 10th loss in the league. 10. That is unacceptable and it will be the same old same old this summer. Nothing will change, there will be no significant improvement and we will be looking for a new coach. We could be looking at the 2004-05 season again.

Yes, the ref completely lost control and thought he could get it back by brandishing silly red cards like they were going out of fashion. I said to myself just before Mexes got his red "Mexes is going to get sent-off the way he is going", but I didnt think it would be for something so trivial. Maybe I missed something, but what did he actually do? Had a bit of a spat with Matuegaylum or whatever and then a schurfuffle happened and the ref went all red. Mexes should of at least loafed the fuckin cunt. After that it turned into a complete debacle and we'd no centre-halfs on the pitch, and it all went feckin pear-shaped.

And what the hell happened with Spalletti and Tare at half-time? Ah feck it, its too frustrating.

Tre espulsi, grande nervosismo e poco spettacolo. E' questa la sintesi del derby di Roma, che va alla Lazio. La Roma ha una partenza da incubo con l'uno-due biancoceleste firmato Pandev-Zarate al 2' e al 4'. Nel primo gol, calcio d'angolo dubbio per la Lazio, cross in mezzo, Pandev di prima intenzione calcia e brucia alla sua sinistra Doni; il raddoppio biancoceleste arriva due minuti più tardi con un gran destro a giro di Zarate. Poi la Roma riesce ad accorciare le distanze con Mexes al 10' da azione di calcio d'angolo: Baptista fa da torre al francese che si gira e mette alle spalle di Muslera. La Roma potrebbe pareggiare, ma solamente un palo sul colpo di testa di Baptista e il salvataggio sulla linea di Rozhenal sul tiro di Brighi salvano la Lazio. A fine primo tempo, mentre le due squadre si dirigevano negli spogliatoi, sono stati espulsi Spalletti e Tare. Nella ripresa la Lazio si porta sul 3-1 con Lichsteiner al 13' che approfitta di un'incertezza di Doni in uscita. Poi in campo succede di tutto: vengono espulsi nell'ordine Panucci, Mexes e Matuzalem e scene bruttissime di rissa in campo. La Roma trova il gol del 3-2 con De Rossi, abile a sfruttare di testa il suo inserimento su cross di Pizarro dalla destra. The should be ashamed of themselves. There is no excuse in losing that way to a very poor lazie. My wife was shopping this morning during the game. She got back just as the game ended.
