We are a bit too narrow alright, and I wonder if we'll see Taddei come in for Perrotta at some stage to offer a bit more going forward? Not that Rodrigo has been on spectacular form as of late, but we just need a bit more width and pace against this bottleneck of a Chievo defence.

I haven't been around much lately, but I'm glad to see the forum still bubbling in its various tensions. I've been really busy lately, especially on weekends, and have therefore not been free to watch the games. Roma's shitty form coupled with jumpy streams and arabic commentry meant I generally avoided the scores and watched a downloaded version of the match on Monday evening.

I'm encouraged to see a few people standing up against the great global warming swindle. It's has taken on almost religious proportions complete with the spurning of heretics and rituals (if you take an aeroplane flight, plant a tree). The science for it is very bad indeed, and the aims of the agenda are entirely political. The simple fact is that the Earth, like any other observable planet, gets warmer and colder over the course of time. It was significantly warmer 5,000 years ago in the Holocene Maximum, then cooling took place, then we had the Medieval Warm Period followed by the Little Ice Age. What gives people the impression that all of a sudden we are the cause?

Furthermore, Al Gore is a crook. Before he made that film he set up a company in London with David Blood which will allocate and sell the "carbon credits" to countries in the E.U. The company is appropriately nicknamed Blood and Gore.

This match is being played at a such a low tempo. We need to wake up a little and get a goal or two. The most important thing is not to let Chievo into this game. Not for a second.

I had decided to bet on Menez scoring this evening 1 hour before the game...and his name could not be found on bwin within the Roma team...
I really rarely bet on players scoring but I felt it...and I couldn t bet....Shit shit shit....

We'll take that, I think, gentlemen. Let's hope that goal does the trick for Menez's confidence. He did some lovely stuff today and credit to Spags for starting with him. Perrotta had such an excellent, solid game today. I thought he was outstanding in all sorts of little but important ways. Still, since Chievo were so poor as to be able to make even Taddei look like he can dribble like a Brazilian, I suppose we shouldn't be getting too excited. It could have been 4 or 5 today, and that while conceding almost nothing at the back - a very solid three points and a job well done. Let's hope the boys can do the business on Tuesday evening too.

Solid win indeed and delighted to have the three points, which is all that matters. Is that four league wins on the trot now? Not bad. If we hadn't of gotten three points there this evening it would of been a fuckin outrage. On another day that same game could of been 4 or 5 nil for us, and Chievo are so bad that when they get relegated they don't deserve Serie B, rather Serie fuckin Z. Delighted for Menez to get a good game and his first goal under his belt and he was deadly at times today and showed what great promise he has. And good to come through with no injuries.

Now let's hope the boys can do the business on Tuesday evening too. :pretty:

All right, Edzo, you've pushed me to the edge this time. I'm heading out to get battered. If there's a story about a guy who choked in his own vomit in the gutters if Ely you'll know it was all your fault, Edzo. That and the fact the hockey team has completed the first half of the season with 11 wins out of 11. No doubt it's the brilliant coaching. Feck yis all. Except for g-r.ie. It's good to have one Irish guy around here who knows his stuff. And isn't a lepercorn.
