And if we really do want him badly then why not just make a straight up cash offer instead of a loan with an option to buy? These kind of deals won't always work.

If I were Greco I would refuse to go as well. To be honest, I never really rated Bradley all that highly. On this issue, I must agree with Collucci that it is a commercial signing. American ownership, American player, this will help to market the team in the USA. Who knows what will happen at this point however as everything appears to be stalled.

The problem is tho that Sabatini can't move a Juan, Simplicio, Pizarro, Boriello cause of the contracts they be earning. Selling them saves a ton of money. You don't move these Sabatini's hands are tied.

So if we sell Broni is this project a failed one? Are the owners we have not the ones they pretend to be and have no cash whatsoever? Or are they too greedy to spend a nickle and dime on some good players that can push this Roma team in a CL spot? I'm just curious in all this.

Greco to Olympiacos? Thats a strange one. I wouldn't call the project a failure if we sell Borini. We don't really know whats going on behind the scenes. Presumably its something along the lines of Zeman not seeing him working in his forward line and would prefer a prima-punta like Destro, and if that is the case then its the managers decision and not the societies. Like Italiamia, I cant really see why we would bother to sign him through the envelopes from Parma only to sell him on.

I wish Rosella would have kept Roma. Then it would be bankrupt and shuttered up Trigoria. Anything would be better than these owners.

Yes they were the 5th highest spenders last year. Yes, they've spend 7 figures to fix up Trigoria. Yes, they have brought our online presence into the modern era. Yes, they appear to have taken a long term approach so we dont have constant turnover. Yes they've made strides towards building a Arena. Yes, they've improved the game day experience at the Olimpico.

But let's be honest, with only 6 weeks left in the transfer window I think we all know that there is no money to spend. We also know that DiBenedetto has forced them to sell Borini and buy Bradley against Saba's will.

I think it's pretty clear it's been a failure after all these months (almost 1 whole year) there is no saving this sinking ship.

Hopefully one of those Shieks who were dying to buy Roma for the 3 years it was on the market make a massive bid and force a sale.
