I wonder if this is Baldini's doing, as it's the second event this year that they've held at a museum; the other event was at the controversial MAXXI museum in January. There are certainly enough museums in Rome that they won't run out of venues any time soon.

I just learned (through Wiki: know everything learn nothing) that Wind is in fact a Canadian mobile company. I thought it was Italian, and liked it cos it was Italian. Now its no better than having Burger King on our jerseys. Or McDonald's.

Edzo, Wind was sold a few years back. For all intents and purposes, it is still operated as an Italian company and one of the few in Italy that is actually growing. Certainly, I would not compare their sponsorship to a Burgerqueen or McSrotum's.

Hey, Collucci: If I were in need of food I would rather have a something from an autogrill than the garbage served in a fast food place. I have only had a caffe` in an Autogrill but I have seen what they serve and it is far better than anything offered by your typical fast food toilet.

The coffee's good, but the food is awful. The problem with them, I think, is that there's no real quality control across Italy. I travel around a lot with work, and some of the Autogrills I've encountered would inspire fear in you. So I suppose if you stop at a big one near a city, it might be ok, but out in the middle of nowhere on the autostrada they're woeful places.

That said, nothing can compare in the HORRIFIC fast food stakes to Supermac's in my native Ireland. Impressively for fast food, they probably use the freshest ingredients of all the fast good chains and they STILL manage to make it taste like shit. On top of that, Supermac's are generally a good place to meet one of Dublin's friendly junkies, or if you're in a rural one, the village's most violent drunk.
