I've not seen much of Bradley this season, but as I've said before, I was certainly impressed with him at the WC - he was one of the very few midfielders there who contributed on both sides of the ball. Some story came out after the WC, too, that Capello had some strange kind of grading system for all of the players at the tournament and Bradley was his top midfielder (fourth, or something, overall, in his ranking system). I'd have no particular complaints about interest in him - what Roma needs is a complete, coherent, balanced squad, and Bradley, from what I've seen, is the kind of able, professional player a handful of whom any successful squad needs. I don't see that he'd offer anything more than a 25-year-old Brighi did, but that's not much of a criticism. Giaccherini and Pepe aren't world-class players, after all.

LE has made some pretty terrible decisions this year - his treatment of Totti at the beginning of the season; his use of Simplicio throughout the season.

Certainly I was pleased and unsurprised to see Bradley ranking so highly - I thought he had a very fine tournament.

Ok, I'm not saying he's shit. Never did. But we already have an ok midfielder who spent some time in Verona. If Bradley was free, and his wages low, then fine. But if the interest is true I find it baffling that the club would move for a player like that at this time.

Not sure if this has been mentioned already (busy day), but according to SkySport 24 we've made official contact with Montella's agent and have 'blocked' him from making contact with another club for 15 days. Sounds like our management knows something they're not telling, eh.

Secondo quanto appena riportato dall'emittente satellitare Sky Sport, Vincenzo Montella, attuale allenatore del Catania, sarebbe vicinissimo ad un ritorno a Roma. A supportare questa notizia il fatto che Montella sia stato bloccato per i prossimi 15 giorni dal club giallorosso.

Spalletti is a dream i think. He just resigned. Bad mouthed Serie A. Although of course there is always his comments about Rome and his family of course. But he'd be my first choice.
