I think today's game was one of the worst matches I've seen for a while. For sure the conditions didn't help but it was just....well nothing happened barely!

I don't really care if LE stays or if he goes. No doubt we'll be better under him next season - the transfer moves can be more precisely targeted; the pattern of play will be clearer; we can hardly not be better starting the season with a clear head and a more clearly defined and familiar project. On the other hand, Fulham play much better football than we do at the moment - with none of the preciousness of an attempt to reinvent the wheel, they play the ball on the deck when they have it, their movement is excellent, their balance is excellent so they can carry a threat without compromising the defence, they use their fullbacks well: watching them tonight and against Arsewipe has been, for me, a pretty telling condemnation of LE's efforts. They are, quite simply, a much better footballing side than we are. And their left-back is excellent. Had Liverpuke not had some wonderkid in goal it would have finished 3- or 4-zip.

Andre Villas Boas, riporta oggi il portale A Bola, molto probabilmente sarà il prossimo allenatore della Roma al posto di Luis Enrique. Secondo le voci dal Portogallo, la Roma avrebbe puntato sull'ex Chelsea per tornare a sognare lo scudetto. La roma inoltre avrebbe bruciato sul tempo il Valencia, che era intenzionato ad iniziare il nuovo ciclo proprio col portoghese. L'annuncio, si legge, sarà dato solo dopo la fine del campionato.

I can barely remember the Chievo match. Talk about uneventful. Was it raining? Were there really flying donkeys on the pitch? If so how did LE's stallions not get the best of them? Of course the conditions played a major part and restricted the usual free-flowing, intricate, mesmerising posesso paella football we usual play… err. We were very poor once again, regardless of the conditions, and our performance hardly warranted anything more. At least Curci was good once again.

This AVB talk is a bit scary to me. I have great respect for Baldini as a man and Saba as a talent evaluator. That said, if AVB comes in and clashes with the old guard I'll lay it squarely on them. We have long time players who are as big as the shirt to some supporters, just like Chelsea and those guys hated him. His high line tactics are no different than LE's and when the failure of some of his tactics stared him in the face he showed no more willingness than LE to modify them.

I said a few days ago that i was no longer up to defend LE for numerous reasons. But the players have supported him, the Directors have supported him and word is he's going to leave because he doesn't want to be a drag on the players.

If that's the case then he'll leave with a place in my heart for wearing the colors well. Roma means more to me than where we end up in the table. If I were a slave to the results I'd be a Rube or ManU fan.
