Tallo looks to be the real deal from the brief observations I've made of him.

It's going to be tough to hit 3rd, but realistically, Lazio, Napoli and Udinese have looked worse than us recently. It's there for the taking and our schedule isn't too bad down the stretch.

Lazio play Napoli next week I see. What would the best result for us be, maybe a draw?

Although that said we can only rely so much on events elsewhere, our home games against Udinese and Napoli are the ones that we need to win and will have a big impact on 3rd spot.

What a pain there's only 3 CL spots eh, if it was still top 4 I'd be fairly confident of us sneaking in.

Suarez is a fantastic player, but his only weakness – aside from being a bit mental* – is his finishing, and we need finishing and direct play more than anything. I'd take a gamble on Torres, if he was on the cheap, as he's still young as was magnificent once upon a time.

*There's something in the water here that makes even sane players a bit mental sometimes. The last thing we need is a nut job. Although it would be effing hilarious to see him bite Brocchi.

So gimme the wish-lists. Who would we like to see in a Roma jersey?

I think Chievo's Acerbi is pretty good. Or Subotic. Or Basta, even if he did come from Crvena Zvezda. What's the craic with Mattia Cassani? Is he only on loan at Fiorentina? He'd be ok at right-back.

And seeing as there'll no doubt be a summer's worth of talk about un-needed and over-priced forwards who probably wouldn't have any interest in coming to Roma, I'll include one I would like: Mario Gomez.

Three players I hope to see in a Roma maglia next season? Pizarro, Bertolacci, and Rosi. Or is that too unrealistic? Your three would make the side much stronger, Goffredo - I'm just sentimental.

I'm not sure Ranocchia quite has the quickness - the pace and the agility on the turn - to cut it at the highest level. That's my concern for him, anyway - he's much stronger when things are unfolding in front of him.

Maro, I think Bertolacci's your best bet! Ah, I'm sure Rosi will still be there, but on the bench. LE doesn't seem overly impressed with him.

Isla is good, but personally I don't think we need him because we have Rosi. If only LE would play him. Wouldn't be all that convinced of Rannochia's ability to play in this system at all.

I actually like Suarez, primarily because he's such a coont. Is he a knacker? Yes. Does he bite, and handle the ball? Occasionally. But he's not a racist. That's all just English media BS.
