I was online for the game on Sunday but stormed off in disgust when the third went in....

Does anybody know why the game is at 2.00 on Sunday afternoon? Even though we lost the game back in October I enjoyed the derby being at night again.

Looking forward to the Derby the weekend. It wouldn't be the same heading into it if both teams weren't in some form of chaos. Weird that it is on at 3pm, though, alright. Bad news about Totti.

Totti returned to regular training today and looks like he should be ok for the Derby. Bergonzi will also be the ref.

Lucio Dalla, a popular singer, and Germano Mosconi, a sports journo and TV present famous for his swearing, both died today. One was elegant, the other less so. Mosconi sure was funny though.

Simplicio trained today and appears to be fully recovered from his ankle knock which forced him out of training early yesterday. I'd have him starting in midfield on Sunday – it would appear to be between him and Marquinho, with RomaNews favouring the latter – but Simplicio seems like the better choice for me and knows what this game is all about compared to his fellow Brazilian. Pjanic also skipped training yesterday but was back today. He was rested as a precaution after he played about 75 minutes for Bosnia against Brazil on Tuesday night. I watched that game and he played very well, linking up with Dzeko and putting himself about and showing no effects of tiredness. Totti seemed in good condition. Everyone else participated in full training with the exceptions of Gago, Cassetti (suspended. As is Osvaldo, of course) and Burdisso.

PROBABILE FORMAZIONE (4 -3-3): Stekelenburg; Rosi, Juan, Heinze, Taddei, De Rossi, Pjanic, Marquinho, Totti, Lamela, Borini.


The Derby is also , and the gates will open at 12. When it says sold out I presume it means all the official tickets for each club have been sold, but not sure if there's some still available. And of course there will probably be empty seats in certain sections as always happens with these games.

Colly will be in the Curva Sud, of course, and reporting live here, no doubt, but i also heard that AlCapone (Imran) and lots others from http://www.asroma.no are going and are meeting up with other Scandanavian supporter groups, and so I heard there will be about 200 Scandinavians somewhere in the Olimpico (they'll be easy to spot, all probably wearing shorts and t-shirts and sweating in the 12' heat. I'm sure we'll see their banners).
