L'Uefa ha comunicato le date della Champions League 2008-2009: la fase a gruppi inizierÃƒÂ il 16 settembre e si chiuderÃƒÂ il 10 dicembre. Ottavi di finale il 25 e 26 febbraio (ritorno 10 e 11 marzo), quarti il 7 e 8 aprile (ritorno una settimana piÃƒÂ¹ tardi), semifinali il 28-29 aprile (ritorno il 5 e 6 maggio). Finale allo stadio Olimpico di Roma il 27 maggio.

tec, that pic is of ddr circa 1990.

so amantino_mancini seems to have shed light on the vuci deal in the other thread. i guess i wasnt following it all that closely because I hadnt realised that after we purchased him for 7.5 mill (in addition to the original 3.25 loan amount), we sold 50% of him back to lecce for 3.75 mill. that explains the confusion when reading that document pocari posted (and why i was convinced that we had purchased him outright last summer). so we sell 50% back last summer for 3.75 mill so that we could purchase the same 50% back a year later for 12 mill??? now i'm not so perplexed about italpetroli's 350 mill debt in light of oil companies continuing to make record profits.

99% sure that's Belen Rodriguez in all of her venereal diseased glory (which I'm sure has been discussed).

I'll also throw in my .02 on languages: Latin should be mandatory, nevermind offered. A classic was required at my high school and everyone I talked to in college said it helped immeasurably. Continuing with the study, however, is another matter....sum, esse, fui, futurus...something like that?

yeah, chris, i think you are right about it being belen rodriguez. maldini had posted a youtube clip in the azzurri thread, similar to the one you posted, and viewed it about 60 times since. however, i think i should probably go get checked, i may have caught something myself from watching the clip repeatedly.

i googled her name and the images that came up definately look similar. i have to say that i now have mixed feelings about solving this riddle. she's actually lost a bit of her lustre knowing her claim to fame. okay, okay, maybe not.
