So it seems the meeting went well with Sabatini and he denies the reports of him giving an ultimatum to Unicredit as reported earlier. He said all went well. Sky is reporting that he will be given full power to act as DS before the sale goes through.

Does anyone know how much Sabatini's deal with Marlboro is worth? All the photos I've seen of him lately he has a pack of reds in plain view. Glad to hear that he seems to be committed to the role and getting the backing he needs from DiBenedetto. I just wish the official sale would hurry up and give us some time to work in some new blood before we hit the Europa League trail.

As for Luis Enrique, if he gets the job he's got some pretty useful contacts when it comes to arranging a loan deal or two....

OK one more update. Sabatini was stopped by reporters on his way to lunch in Roma. He said that nothing was wrong and just asked to have things streamlined to speed up to work he is doing. He said everyone he is working with is good and has the best intentions for Roma in mind. He also said a press conference would be scheduled in the coming days to make announcements. Asked if he had a message for the fans he said "trust".

Tomorrow was supposed to be the day Rosella and Co. relinquish 'control' of Roma in accordance with the agreement with Unicredito but the official transfer will not take place until 1 July. There is no reason to believe she, and rest of her band of idiots will be hanging around while the new ownership group finalise the transfer of the club. Remember, the Sensi girls do not own this club and Rosella has no ability to thwart a anything, so I assume she wants to go out in ignominious fashion.

I frankly do not even know what to say about the behavior of Prade` and Montali. A classless act demonstrating to the public exactly what we as fans have been dealing with during Rosella Sensi's contemptible tenure. One final act of shamelessness which I am sure was received, if not mandated, by Rosella with great pleasure. The end of the era of Rosella Sensi, finally. As I said last month, I sincerely hope she never attends another game at the Olimpico. She should just depart and behave as though she never existed. I, for one, have already forgotten about this disgraceful and selfish person who embarrassed this organization time and time again and more often than not, made me ashamed to be an Italian.
