I pray that cassano can get through this without a meltdown. If not, he really is done for good in my eyes. And, I pray that Chiellini WOULD CHILL TEH FUCK OUT IN TRAINING and save the bull crap for when it counts. The guy should butt head with the post if he needs it so bad.

This team is in shambles. Don lost control. Doesn't anybody see that coaching is a job that demands respect??? If you're not successful/experienced nobody on this team is going to respect you. Chiellini and Cassano are losing their cool immediately. Chiellini, although a hot head on the field vs opponents, doesn't get into these type of quarrels at Juve simply because I BELIEVE Ranieri is the coach. Don is just too young in terms of coaching wise. Look at Mancini, he gets shitted on daily. He actually enjoys that though.

Cassano Goes Berserk In Training

It hasn’t taken long for Antonio Cassano to demonstrate his temperamental side in Austria and Switzerland, after the Sampdoria man was involved in two unsavoury training ground incidents.


Cassano was the surprise inclusion in Roberto Donadoni’s 23-man squad for the Euros, as he was preferred to Milan hitman Pippo Inzaghi.

While few doubt the genius of the Sampdoria forward, many feel his presence is a huge risk given his volatile personality and that his bad boy ways could damage the unity in the camp.

These fears may start to be realised after Cassano went berserk during a training session in Austria. The 25-year-old reacted furiously to a fair tackle from defender Giorgio Chiellini, before then proceeding to aim a volley of obscenities at the Juve defender, who is still said to be deeply upset after the challenge on Tuesday that has ruled captain Fabio Cannavaro out of the tournament.

Cassano didn’t stop there, as just minutes later he threw himself into an X-rated tackle on another defender Andrea Barzagli. Fortunately the new Wolfsburg man escaped unhurt.

Coach Roberto Donadoni was forced to step in to calm an agitated Cassano down, but tempers continued to fray in the changing rooms after training, with many players angry with Cassano’s conduct.

While the incident is now said to be forgotten, the Bari-native’s behaviour is certainly a cause of concern at this difficult time following the massive injury loss of Cannavaro.

Not ideal preparation but like Italiamia said I'm sure the senior players will have a word with Cassano and tell him in no uncertain terms to cop the feck on. However, it should be Donadoni's place to set Cassano straight and control him, as best as he can be controlled in such a situation, but there are doubts as to whether the Don can actually do that. You would think Cassano would know better and have some respect given he is fortunate to be in the squad at all. I'm sure it will be ok though, and I still think his inclusion is the right call.
